About This Plane
IL 96 400 This is a wide bodied long range airliner which has a range upto 5700NM++. It is expected to give one of the best milage for the fuel it burns. The future IL-96-400 are expected to use PS-90A1 engines, this package has been updated for PS-90A1.
IL 96 400T This is a cargo version.This plane has higer weight ratio and gives you a lower mileage as compared to above

About This Package In this package it comtains two models 1)il-96-400 (passenger Version) 2)il-96-400T (The cargo version) This is a production relase package. There could be some errors from your log, but you can ignore them as they are not important at this point of time. This package has been tested with full fuel + full pax/cargo weight + full crew weight and it attained a range of 5856NM or Approx. With default configuration it is expected, it will cover bit more NMs.

What you need to know? - Weight This aircraft may seem "Heavy" for some, until you get used to it.So please handle with care.
What you need to know? -Take off Engage some amount of flaps (ie press ] twice on your keyboard) , disable parking brakes (shift+b) , increase throttle to full. Run down the runway, adjust steering if needed using your rudder and pull up when you reach around 130kts. To prevent stall, please climb at a rate of 15 degrees.
What you need to know? -Auto Pilot
- Select an airport within 5700nm range from where you are now.
- Input the airport code into AP route manager and activate it
- From cockpits AP panel, set your alt to 33000 and activate it
- Manually rundown the runway and take off (see above on taking off)
- Climb till at lest 5000 or 7000 feet
- Ensure you are not at stall speed
- Now click on AP, AT and LNAV button to activate it
- Now you will watch this plane climb till 33000 feet and will go into cruise mode.
What you need to know? -400T cargo
- Do select a long runway if you are flying with max fuel and payload
- Watch for obstacles and stall as you climb
- Preferred if you can rundown till 170kts before take off
