The site offers a very simple REST API as open data. You can use it for educational purposes (use of REST APIs) or include it in your projects involving the Delphi and Pascal programming languages.
Delphi-Books.com is a community project. Its content depends on you.
To add or edit books for Delphi, Free Pascal, Lazarus, Code Typhon, other programming environments or the Pascal language, fork this code repository and use this program to modify the database. It allows you to add, modify or delete books, publishers and authors. Once you've made your changes, send us a PULL REQUEST. Please make one COMMIT per modification (per book added or per author, book or publisher modified).
If you add translations of texts using software or online services, please indicate their references and copyright, as some do not authorize the distribution of translated texts.
Whatever you do, make sure you have the right to use and publish the data you enter.
Any data (text, images, etc.) added to the project becomes public and can be reused by the Delphi-Books.com website, but also by any user of its API or NoSQL database from the repository, in accordance with its user license.
The website is generated by this program. Use it to test possible modifications to site templates.
Any changes to templates must be the subject of a ticket or a discussion and approved in advance. Otherwise your PULL REQUEST will be rejected.
No modification to the "docs" folder will be taken into account unless the site is automatically generated by a member of the repository maintenance team.
If you want an answer from the project owner the best way to ask for a new feature or report a bug is to go to the GitHub repository and open a new issue.
If you found a security issue please don't report it publicly before a patch is available. Explain the case by sending a private message to the author.
