Release Schedule
As most features are stable, neon-js will be in maintenance and release irregularly. There is no schedule. Please reach out through discord/email/github issues if there is a release request.
Major releases introduce breaking changes. This is usually done for large protocol changes.
Minor releases are done for new features or deprecation removal. If a feature has been marked deprecated in the previous major release, the maintainer may allow it to survive to the next major release for compatibility. However, the maintainer reserves the right to remove them with a minor release. This policy is done to allow large breaking changes to occur with code to bridge between the 2 major versions.
Patches usually contain small fixes and should be fine to upgrade directly.
