This release on April 13, 2022 represents a good working version of the code Crunchtope for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

The Windows version is installed using the CrunchSetup file--this will install the Exercises, the executable (CrunchTope.exe), and the redistributable Intel libraries. The redistributable libraries should be installed by double-clicking on them. In addition, it will update the Environment Variables in the Registry so that the location of the CrunchTope executable is added to the PATH. In this way, the code can be run from any directory using the Command window.

The Mac and Linux versions are to be built with GCC and Gfortran following the instructions in:

 PETScBuildInstructions-Linux.pdf
 PETScBuildInstructions-Mac.pdf

For Mac and Linux, there is no executable, so the user should build first PETSc and then CrunchTope following the instructions. Some people have had problems with compatibility between the GCC and Gfortran thanks to Apple at some point removing Gfortran, so you may have to update XCode or your Mac.
