Raxer

Raxer is a simple system tray application, built with ♥️ by Braco ZS

Raxer is an app for swapping the mouse side buttons, also known as extra mouse buttons, additional buttons, back - forward, mouse 4 - mouse 5, X buttons, etc.

If your mouse for some reason has the two side buttons reversed, you can fix it with Raxer. It works with any mouse, regardless of brand.

Short History

I bought a mouse, and when I started using it, I noticed that the side buttons were reversed. I looked for a simple way to configure it in Windows and other applications, but I couldn't do it. Then I thought: "I am a programmer, maybe I can create an application for this...". After a lot of research and hard work I managed to make the app work XD.
Now it's free so anyone who wants to swap their side buttons can do it. 😊

Raxer is free!! You are free to use it for any purpose, personal or commercial. And install it on as many computers as you like.
It´s under MIT License.

How to use

Just run the application and it will start working. You will see the application icon in the system tray. Click on the icon and the menu with the following options will be displayed:

• Turn Off/Turn On - (enables/disables the app functionality, without closing the application).
• Exit - (i don't know what it does 🤐 😁)

If you right click on the icon an additional menu item will be displayed:

• Start with system - (runs the application when you turn on the computer).

I am excited to work on the next Raxer update. This next version will include new "Remap all mouse buttons" features that I'm sure you will find useful to customize your mouse experience.

Checklist of new features that will be added (updated 21/04/24):

• Remap button/s to:
  • ✅ Other mouse button (click, right click, middle, etc).
  • ✅ Key/key combination, e.g.: A, 9, Tab, 🔼, Alt or Alt + Tab, Ctrl + S keys, etc.
  • ✅ Copy, Paste, Cut commands
  • ✅ Disable button/s
  • ✅ Multimedia controls (volume up, volume down, play/pause, stop, mute, next/previous track)
  • ✅ Minimize, maximize, close window
  • ✅ Improve pointer precision (while pressing)
  • ✅ Fix X/Y axis (while pressing)
  • ✅ Open application
  • ✅ Open web site
  • ✅ Mute/unmute microphone 🎙️
  • ✅ Take screenshot
  • ✨ Gesture button (this feature will be included in the next minor version)
• 👷🚧 Profiles (with shortcuts)
• 👷🚧 Application specific-settings (e.g. Chrome, Photoshop, notepad, etc).
