A Prototype to Show the Capabilities of AR / AI / IoT

Our experience in preparing a rpi 3 as a AI Security Drone Brain

Introduction

This prototype was started in Jan. 2018 and is as of yet on going. The next section HISTORY will serve as a tutorial or blog of how to set-up a Drone for Automated flying with fast object avoidance, AI to analyse the environment and react according to its current mission. Deliver scene related telemetry and provide a probabilistic risk/benefit analysis of objects in the scene trough either a display at the command center or via AR Glasses worn by a field operator to which the drone is assigned.

It's a whopper of a project to take on with no drone experience, no AI or ML experience, very little AR experience, no Computer Vision experience... yeee haw!

For our drone's Artificial Intelligence, Object Avoidance, AR automation, and much more, we chose to use the Raspberry Pi 3 B. Why?Simply put, that's how this project started.
