Resolves #8824
This does fix the problem and forces an experiment factor to take prescience over a column from the datastore, but I want to do more testing on side effects this might have before it's merged.
I also added in a new exception message to tell you when you put a graph under a simulation that is under an experiment. Previously the message didn't help explain how to fix the problem.
