QuantiFly Software

QuantiFly is a software package for automating egg counting in Drosophila genetics research[1]. QuantiFly is optimised for counting eggs in media containing vials, captured using a digital USB camera. Please visit the github repository if your require more details.

Download software

The software which is available below provides immediate access to the QuantiFly technique. To install, just download the software and unzip.

  • QuantiFly for Mac OS X tested on Mavericks and Yosemite. To run, just double-click the unzipped QuantiFly_training_###.exe file.
  • QuantiFly for Linux tested on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. To run, in the terminal, navigate to unzipped folder and type ./QuantiFly_training_###.sh and press enter (Remember to substitute the # for the downloaded version).
  • QuantiFly for Windows tested on Windows 7.0 and Windows 10.0. To run, just double-click the unzipped QuantiFly_training_###.exe file.
