Data for meta analyses

We're very excited to support meta-analyses of studies of reasoning development.

You can find 4D nifti files that represent the input data for our group analyses in the REGISTERED_INDIV_STATISTICAL_MAPS folder within the DATA directory.

For each file there are 95 3D maps. These are the 95 participants listed in the mri_subject_ids.txt file in the order given in that file. You can find behavioural data for each subject (along with the participants who did not have usable MRI data) in the WhitakerVendetti_BehavData.csv file.

There are three 4D maps:

  • Cope 1 corresponds to a test of activation on semantic trials compared to baseline
  • Cope 2 corresponds to a test of activation on analogy trials compared to baseline
  • Cope 4 corresponds to a test of activation on analogy trials compared to semantic trials

Each 3D map is the average activation for the contrasts described above for each participant across up to 4 runs of the visual analogy task. The maps are 2mm3 and registered to MNI space.
