Search Bar doesn't work as expected #1320

Describe the bug

When clicked on search icon, the cross icon appears. But instead of removing the texts inside the searh bar, it closes the search bar

To Reproduce

Click on the search icon to open the search bar. Then click on the cross icon inside the bar.

Expected behavior

Deletes all the texts inside the search bar. But instead it closes the searchbar.
