The DC and HighWire metadata generated by Janeway look nice, except the metadata themselves don't tell us whether the type is preprint. Therefore EM translator identifies preprints as journal articles.
This is very similar to the situation with biorxiv. Currently biorxiv is supported by the HighWire 2.0 translator as a special case (however HW2.0 doesn't play nice with the Embedded Metadata translator even as it uses the latter: #3146).
We may support Janeway by writing a new translator - but it would mostly just correct the itemType. Alternatively, we could fold it into the HW2.0 translator.
