Hi,

I've made a custom theme called basher that is accessible here. I think some people might be interested in it, maybe you could register it in the Wiki ?

Thank you in advance !

Hi @Spriithy! Can you please add like "What does it show?" and "Requirements" sections to the README.md like we have in our themes?

Also, it would be great if you could add an image to the README.md in the same look and feel we use in our themes:

  • Prefer a theme with black (#000000) background. I use either the "Dark Background" or the "Tango Dark" theme in iTerm2.
  • Use a font that takes 8×18 pixels for each character. Prefer the Meslo LG / Menlo-Regular family. I use "Meslo LG S for Powerline", regular, size 14, with 100% horizontal and vertical scaling.
  • Use a 87 columns × 4 lines window.
  • Use 5 pixels left and right margin, and 2 pixels top and bottom margin.
  • Do it in a "retina display" (if in macOS) or double all the values above.
  • Final image will have 1412×152 pixels.

Actually, it might me easier if I just generate the image for you. So I'll post it here soon.

Here's the image:

EDIT: Want me to replace the eric@macbookpro by theophile.dano@somethingelse?

Hi ! Thanks for making the screen capture, I do not have any of the exepected material, so it would have been painful for me to do so !

I will update the README section accordingly later tonight

HI @Spriithy, did you have time to try to update the README.md file as I suggested above?

Also, now we have a prompt-pwd module that does all you're doing in your _prompt_basher_pwd function (and more). This is how we started using it in the gitster prompt: zimfw/gitster@a4ce722
