If a record contains more than one file, the preview will display only the first file in the list. It would be useful if a user could select which file to see in the preview or having multiple previews.

I would like to second this feature request. For example, it would be great if README.TXT could be chosen for the default preview.

Relatedly, it would be really nice if one could preview the preview before publishing -- I had thought that the README.md (Markdown) file I'd included was rendering fine, since it had worked on the Sandbox server earlier, but when I finally hit publish on the real server, I got "Cannot preview this file" which didn't look great, and had to copy and reformat all of the README info into the archive description. Having a standard "use this file as the description" would also be very nice, along the lines of what Github does with README, README.txt, README.md, README.rst, etc.

It’s foreseen in InvenioRDM project, which zenodo will be on top of in end 2020

So @ChiaraBi : for now, the only workaround would be removing all files and re-uploading them again, putting in first place the one we want for the preview?

And, related to what @zaneselvans commented, is there any list of known file formats that Zenodo can preview?

Thanks

I also support this request, because the files are sorted alphabetically regardless of upload order and only first is previewed. What is the main file to preview cannot be chosen.
