Hardware accelerated implementation for the AES cipher inside a Cortex-M3
CPU, model CC2538, using the Embedded Parallel Operating System from [1].
To actually compile anything, download GCC 4.4.4 from [2] and place it under
`/usr/local/arm`. You also need `zlib`, `bzip2`, `ncurses` and `gcc-libs` as
32-bit libraries, as well as `python3-pyserial`.
Create an application and its traits file inside the `app` folder, as seen in
the examples. It can be compiled with
# $APP is the name of the .cc file, no extension
make APPLICATION=$APP
To run in a virtual machine (`qemu-system-arm`), or flash the firmware to a
real EPOSMote III, invoke the `run` and `flash` rules. One will generally
want to clean everything before each compilation with `make -j veryclean`.
To check output from the board, `sudo cat /dev/ttyACM0` should work. For
further instructions, refer to [3].
