Describe feature

Make it possible to add from other icon sets. Currently, we can use those from boxicons from Atisa on Iconify. Request Emoji One (Colored) from Iconify to add a dash of color to the dark theme.

This should currently be possible using appCss + iconClass as described in https://github.com/zadam/trilium/wiki/Themes#styling-the-tree, but having them in the selection area would be a cool addition, instead of needing to manually find them online.

Oh, that's helpful thanks. You're right I was seeking it to be in the selection area, given I am not a developer.

I don't plan to add support for custom icon packs, but I might be open to add a colored icon pack if there's a nice one available with a free license.

My preference aims for business-type icons.

That said if your preference is to stick to what works on iconify, the only choices for color seem to be emoji which is fine by me. Check out Emoji one (v1).

I can work with it. I could use the cool symbol for success. Or the spy for market research. Or check the box for task management. Or one of the nature ones for outdoor life stuff that I put in my knowledge base.

I can work with the others, the twitter emoji seems to have the most to use.

I came here with the same request. The Emoji One set is not free to use though. Twemoji icons set by Twitter is and looks to be a good candidate.
