It does not help anyone to make such non-sense claims and misinformation, be more responsible and mature, saying JS is faster than Python would be enough and more true.

It's more like 100x?

If that's a genuine question then I will say:

  1. if you claim that one language is x times faster than another (like 40x or 100x) without any additional comment/explanation or how it has been measured then you are already wrong and only show you either lack basic understanding of those things or you intentionally want to spread misinformation to i.e. promote one language over another based on false claims and hoping others are uninformed and will not find out that you are basically lying
  2. I would encourage you to go and do your own quick research using you favourite search engine, it's neither hard nor time consuming and it's very much worth it just for the educational benefits

However if that question is just an attempt at trolling then I will say:
You are free to believe whatever you want, it's fine, but don't sell it like it's facts. Especially when it's in this case very easy to invalidate your own beliefs. Also because you are doing a lot of harm this way.

I can see you followed my advice and did your own research, I'm happy I convinced you to do so and glad you actually found and decided to link those specific benchmarks, I was hoping you will find and read them.
So now I'm wondering what are your conclusions looking at those numbers?
Do you think anyone can make a generic claim that JavaScript is 40x faster than Python?
