No Connetion to HP Procurve 2620 #3116
Comments
Please try if it is fixed in 0.30.1 |
Unfortunately, the behavior has not changed with 0.30.1. |
Thank you for testing that - we fixed the prompt for others procurve models in 0.30.1 I also suspect a prompt issue here.

Sure, I will post a cleaned output ASAP. I also see that after the upgrade some HP devices breaks with a regex mismatch which was running before but I haven't digged deeper yet. |
For this switch type the output under ~/.config/oxidized/logs/(device-ip)-ssh is empty. |
OK, thanks. I'll have a look at it, I just need time to orginise an Access to a 2620. |
Got today access to a 2620-24, fetching the configuration worked without tuning:

Thank you for this information. I have checked the devices in our setup, the oldest software version on our environment is RA.15.08.0009. So I will try to downgrade. And we auth with priv/public key to our switches, so even it has something to do with one of them. |
We have an problem with the HP Procurve 2620 series, other series of Procurve/Aruba do not have this problem.
It is a reproducible problem on a total of 15 devices in our infrastructure of the same model with different equipment types (POE/PortCount) and firmware versions.
If you try to connect via SSH, the connection is established successfully.
Oxidized also gets a prompt, which can be seen in the debug output, but immediately afterwards the connection is closed with the raise condition
Net::SSH::Disconnect with msg "connection closed by remote host"
.The option
ssh_no_keepalive: true
also had no effect.Do you have any other tips on how we can continue debugging?
