I love how there are so many options, and we care about finding just the write one for us. Kudos! Keep making notes :)

I did almost the same path, but I ended with Ulysses on Desktop, Moon Writer on Android, and sync using Dropbox with DropSync app. Works like a charm and no script needed.

Thanks, I didn't know about Dropsync, and Moon Writer.
I will surely try them out!

Cool, you're welcome! Moon Writer is just a stand-alone multi-folder-handler md-editor for Android, nothing else. The trick is around Dropsync, which can be set to map and auto-sync a local folder to a Dropbox directory. Syncing from Dropbox folder to Desktop is handled by Ulysses by-design, but, as we are talking about Dropbox, any local editor could be used for managing your notes on Desktop.

On Android (which now includes Chromebooks) I use Termux and git to sync my notes repo and Markor for editing.

In Termux, you can share a folder with the system, so Markor can open the file directly. I use the Termux widget to sync.

I like it! Thank you for your sharing. I also take notes between pc and laptop, sync is very important.
