Consider enabling discussions for the project, which is separate from "Issues".

Hey, thanks for the suggestion!

It is pretty empty in here, issue wise. I personally don't feel like there would be many discussions. Do you feel like starting a discussion on/about this project?

I would suggest for now feel free to just use an issue. If to many issues become a problem, I will add discussions.
