So I've tried setting up the newest version of X360CE with my XBox Series X Controller to use it properly in Split/Second (seeing as that game doesn't support XBone controllers natively)
I got the virtual device driver installed and it also adds a X360 controller to the Windows Game Controllers window properly.
The problem though: The UI shows the input from my Series X controller working correctly, but when I open the "Test" tab for the virtual X360 controller, none of the buttons light up and the Axes also don't show any changes.
By extension, even when I add the game in the Games list and even try to change the Hook Mask it just does not get detected ingame.
I've tried getting this to work for about 2-3 hours yesterday but haven't managed to get it working, even with multiple PC restarts inbetween.
HID guardian is unfortunately also not helping :(
Any help or tips are greatly appreciated

I've just tried mapping my PS5 controller that I've connected via. bluetooth and that one properly maps everything in the Game Controllers window from Windows. It also works ingame.
Windows Version: 11, 23H2
