Hey Dime Team!

A few review comments on Chapter 3:

  • I think under monitoring it might be worth mentioning some of the newer, remote monitoring tools and data sources. Sometimes, it's absolutely necessary to go out to events and record with a notebook. Other times it might be possible to use an alternate data source.

  • When I read the section about creating a data map, I got the following misconceptions:

    • I should have a data map before starting any project, whether I'm collecting data or acquiring it from somewhere
    • It was fuzzy for me what a data map was

However, those misconceptions were gone after reading the wiki. I think the clear, concise, bulleted point of the Wiki got the concept across to me much better.

I will also add - it would be extremely helpful for me to have a flowchart of the components of a data map, and how they fit together.

Overall, I think this chapter contains some really great content. However, I think it would significantly benefit from graphics showing how all the pieces tie in.

Thank you!!
