I tried this:

using a mouse with a scrolling wheel causes the Console map to jump out of bounds from time to time

This happened:

the map disappears.

I expected this:

no to disappear

Is there a workaround?

Anything else?

We should limit map navigation to the visual map boundaries.
scrolling should be for zooming in and out and not for navigating the map.
