Describe the issue
After building from source, I find myself wondering what are the correct steps to install the built package?

For now, in case anyone is having the same problem, I was able to install WezTerm by following the instructions in deploy.sh for my OS.

If you build from source, then you are assumed to be somewhat on your own when it comes to installing wezterm.
You can follow the steps from the package creation in deploy.sh (although, perhaps you want to run it to produce a package?), or if you are on a system with no packaging automation setup, you may want to look through https://github.com/wez/wezterm/blob/main/README-DISTRO-MAINTAINER.md as well
