enable camera Image injection browserstack

Can i use the browserstack-node-sdk with wdio or is it planned to add this to the service?

What do you mean by that? You can pass in any capabilities you like. If you are using TypeScript and it shows an error , it is because the BS options don't have this type yet, feel free to send a pull request adding it to

webdriverio/packages/wdio-types/src/Capabilities.ts

As mentioned before you, it is not in the list of capabilitites, so has to be added.
I can see the sdk but its not working since the option is not in the capabilities.ts file.
