I've noticed some quality of life improvements that could be made with Web Scrobbler and the connectors page. I've been working on a scrobbling site that has been piggy backing on another connector until my connector gets pushed out the next release and I've felt the pain of interacting with this page regularly. I realize this isn't a common use case, but I wanted to mention it all the same.

  • I'd like to see various sorting options for the connector list. It's currently sorted by date added, oldest first from what I can tell (or maybe slightly curated with most popular at the top, then the most recently added at the bottom). This sorting criteria is a pain on iOS as I can't search in-page, like on the desktop. So I have to look for a connector somewhere in the bottom quarter of connectors. I think Alphabetical sorting would make sense, as well as latest at the top, so you could see what was most recently added to the app if someone is curious.
  • I'd also like to see some type of confirmation that a custom URL is saved when added into the connector page. Currently on iOS is can be pain to actually get it to save a custom URL, and secondly, have that value persist. I've had times where it's taken 3-4 attempts to finally get the URL to start working again with Web Scrobbler. I don't quite know why it doesn't really save a custom value like on desktop. These may be 2 issues, one saving custom values, and two having that value not be wiped out by clearing the cache data. I'm assuming this is set via cookie, but I may be incorrect there. The logins to lastfm, ListenBrainz etc persist fine though.

While I may be one of the few mucking with these settings regularly, I can think of the site deepcut.fm having a bunch of URL changes that messed up the connector that users might have had to modify these settings to work properly between releases.
