"search test files" input is a keyboard trap

If I tab into the "search test files" input on a page, I can't move my focus out of it using tab, shift + tab, or arrow keys. It is possible to press the Enter without submitting a query to un-trap the focus, but the user isn't informed that this is a method of moving focus away.
