Deleting all folders and redownloading very big images is not really a good way to reset things IMHO.
Offer a better way, that can keep general config files plus images etc. and simply only deletes the container or something similar.

All your own settings and applications are in ~/.local/share/waydroid
~/.local/share/waydroid
The images are not changed in any way until a waydroid upgrade has been run.
waydroid upgrade
So you can delete only the ~/.local/share/waydroid and don't touch /var/lib/waydroid/ if you haven't changed anything there yourself
/var/lib/waydroid/
