Forerunner 945 5.00 software added new UI for heart rate broadcasting. Previously, HR broadcast was a mode -- you entered it, and exiting the mode would stop it. Now, HR broadcast is a toggle on an HR display screen that can be exited without turning off broadcasting. So if you exit the HR display screen but forget to turn off broadcasting, you end up sucking battery for no visible reason.

Being able to have a field that displays (say) a heart if broadcast is occurring, or nothing if it isn't, would be super helpful to make it harder to accidentally leave HR broadcast on too long. Don't need to see the heart rate (either instantaneous or at some lag), just whether broadcasting is turned on.
