-tar -zxvf wal-g-pg-ubuntu-18.04-amd64.tar.gz
+tar -xvf wal-g-pg-ubuntu-18.04-amd64.tar.gz

-z flag is useless because In extract or list modes, this option is ignored. -x implies extract.

     -z, --gunzip, --gzip
             (c mode only) Compress the resulting archive with gzip(1).  In extract or list modes, this option is
             ignored.
