Poor color contrast in light mode for cancel icon in search modal

In light mode, there is a noticeable accessibility issue related to the "X" cancel icon within the search modal. When this icon is hovered over, it becomes hard to see. Users with visual impairments may have difficulty interacting with this element.

Thank you @shyusu4. Seems like something where we could just remove this custom hover/focus color change, since there is an outline on focus and a cursor change on hover already.
