Though there is a configured user, it would be nice to override the user on cli via the <user>@<host> approach that all ssh-like tools support

further, it would be nice to be able to specify it as a column in the inventory

seems like a good idea, @bitwisecook . Adding optional columns in the CSV seems easy enough, I don't see a good way to add this as options for the aws or new-relic inventory sources, though. Worth a bit more thought.

Actually, adding a user override field to each inventory source could be good enough (as well as add the column option for csv's)

Hi guys, is this repo still active?

indeed it is, though "active" is just me :) Unless something major comes up this is essentially feature-stable. If you'd like an extra or tweaked feature I welcome PRs.

@wagoodman Sounds great. I'd like to contribute to this awesome repo. If you have any idea/feature in mind, I would love to work on it.
