There can be a short section to list out the digital content and types of devices the Visual design specs (in fact to all the design specs) can be applicable -

Applicability: Devices & Digital Content

Devices:

• Desktop
• Laptop
• Mobile devices
• Tablet devices
• Print documents

Digital Content:

• Web pages
• Mobile / Tablet apps
• Digital documents (PDF, Word, Excel)

Above shown is just an example, this can be tweaked as how it best fits to document.
