Here are some subtle changes you can make to improve readability:

Remove colons in cases where the text before a set of bullets is not a full sentence (see the Misuse of Colons section at the bottom of this page for a more detailed explanation)
Use a different style of bullet for bullets that are indented
Start bullet points with capital letters. This improves readability, especially when the bullet point contains a long phrase. Nested bullets that start with lowercase letters are especially difficult.

Some of these are current EOWG style conventions.

We will consider this for future iteration. We are now working on the Content Author modules
