Here is a suggestion that i have found really helpful when designing my courses: The individual items in a module (i.e. teaching ideas under topics, assessment ideas under topics and module, and teaching resources under module) could be annotated with an estimated time duration (e.g. "60-120 min"). Of course, this would just be a guess and the actual duration would depend on the manner in which the item is carried out in a course. But it would be a nice support for the teacher in making their selection of items. Also, i found it useful for students to have a time estimate on the items in their online courses - and it is considered to be part of Universal Design for Learning. Ultimately, by adding up the times within a module, the module itself could be attributed with a time estimate.

Thanks for this suggestion. We had time-related information at the beginning of this curricula, and push back on that because:
It could create confusion -- people trying to apply these curricula in different backgrounds could find that the instructions provided do not suit their particular needs.
Information provided could be misleading -- For instance, an introduction to accessibility course based on this curricula for developers may put less emphasis on modules that relate to accessibility business and advocacy, whereas it could focus more on modules related to how people with disabilities use the Web, assistive technologies, and the principles and standards.
We are planning to create a supporting page in which we will describe different terminology used in the curricula, include several course scenarios, and provide explanations for people who want to compare and select between different course offers.
