[SOLVED] Forbidden, 403 Error when Importing Google 3D Tiles #356

HI,

Using Blender 3.6.0 and blosm 2.7 to import Google 3D Tiles, I get the following error

"Unable to process the root URI of the 3D Tiles: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden"

Other sources work fine, just not google, API key is unrestricted.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @GARNER2015

Most like there is a mistake in your Google 3D Tiles Key. Maybe a missing character?

Any, I can't tell the exact reason without trying your key. You can send me it to prokitektura+support@gmail.com

Hi,

It's all set up now, I didn't see that you have to enable the maps API on this page https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/tile/cloud-setup#enabling-apis

Hi, the solution by @GARNER2015 Is a sleeper, I don't think most people would know to Enable. maybe the developer should put that on BLOSM front page For the premium users, I see that you have it in the FAQ section here on Github. just a suggestion,, good day🍻Cheers!!

I Solve the 403 error, but the google data cames without 3d resolution, It cames flat.

Probably your area interest is not within 2500 cities across 49 countries with 3D data. You can check that out.

Sorry, your area of interest doesn't have real 3D content. You could try importing something else.

Yes I look for NY and I made it, thanks, but google says that Brazil have, how you find this? Brazil is too large, maybe a couple of cities has 3d, but I dont now how I can knew this before, given that they only talk about countries not about cities

Thanks!, I made my street here, because Im in São Paulo, São josé dos Campos is a countryside

Following this thread and trying to find other options I still have the same problem not being able to solve it. I did enable the google map tiles api and tried different locations but there is no way to make it work. The reason I subscribed is to use this blender addon and I am very disappointed. I would appreciate any help. Thank you

blender 3 6 error
I am using Blender 3.6 version. I hope this helps but is the same error as the thread. Thanks for getting back to me

Friends, hello everyone! Same problem as described above. Unable to process the root URL of the 3d tiles. Error 404 not found. As far as I understand, the payment information is not configured correctly. How can I reconfigure it? I indicated the card, the name, should there be 200 dollars on the card?

I don't think that it's the reason.

What is the output of https://tile.googleapis.com/v1/3dtiles/root.json?key=YOUR_API_KEY? Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your 3D Tiles API Key.

Thanks for the answer. Can you write me a link just up to the point where I have to insert my key? I tried both with and without the equal sign and it still gives a 404 error.

I contacted the bank, they could not answer me. I connected a card from another bank and everything worked. thanks for the answers and patience.
