Bugfix stuck in develop branch

I made a bugfix that was merged into develop a little over a year ago, but somehow it has not been merged into any of the hotfix releases for v1.12.x. (Might be because I forgot to add it to CHANGELOG.md).

Anyhow, would it be possible to add this one to the next release?
