Ignore some rules not defined in puppet e.g, Fail2ban

Hello,

First, I would like to thank you for this module.
I would like to know if there is a way to ignore some rich rules that are not in puppet even if purge_rich_rules => true
I have fail2ban on my VMs which is adding rich rules with the banned IPs and puppet is removing them.
