Affected Puppet, Ruby, OS and module versions/distributions

  • Puppet: 5.5.1
  • Ruby:
  • Distribution: CentOS 7
  • Module version:

How to reproduce (e.g Puppet code you use)

Try to change the config using hiera like:
fail2ban::jails:

  • monit
    fail2ban::bantime: 3600

What are you seeing

Not only is the jails not altered, but there are no changes applied beyond installing the package.

What behaviour did you expect instead

The jail be enabled and configuration be applied

Output log

Any additional information you'd like to impart

Can you please use the current version of the module and check if the problem still exists? Thanks.
