Original Recipe by Mojang from their Cooking Book "Minecraft: Gather, Cook, Eat!"

- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 80g brown and white mushrooms, sliced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 35g (brown) lentils, rinsed
- 500ml vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 30g fresh spinach
- 500g (about 4) potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 80ml milk of your choice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 16 Suspicious Stew Pringles crisps (or another flavor of your choice)
- (Spray) oil
- A pot or frying pan
- Oven or baking dish for 4 servings
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- Place the potatoes in a small pot and cover with water. Cover the pot with a lid and bring to a boil. Lower heat to a simmer and let cook for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are easily pierced with a fork.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk, and salt. Mash, combining everything together until smooth.
- Place oil in a medium pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat, then add the onion. Sauté for 6 minutes or until the onions are soft and translucent.
- Add the mushrooms, carrots, and garlic to the pot and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- Add the broth, tomato paste, soy sauce, and lentils, and give a quick stir. Increase the heat to high until boiling.
- Reduce the heat to medium, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Test the stew, salt and pepper to taste, then add spinach and simmer for another 5 minutes or until the spinach is wilted.
- Fill your oven dish 3/4 of the way with stew. Fill the last ¼ with mashed potatoes.
- Crush the Pringles into crumbs, and sprinkle them over the top of the potatoes. Spray with cooking oil.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the tops are lightly browned
