Sweet Modal issue: Modal toggles always at the top of the page #76

Whenever I open a Modal, it will scrolls the page to the top and then the modal is Displayed. How can I display the modal near to the element where I clicked it.

I am also using a Sidebar on the left. I feel the reason why the modal always pops at the top of the page is due to side bar because it does not overlay the sidebar. Can anyone help me?
