Some menus extend inaccessibly below bottom of screen #246
Comments
Hmm, these menus are created/managed via GTK, so I don't know why these don't automatically have the up/down buttons if the menu doesn't fit on the screen (compared to the menus from the Menu Bar). |
Were you able to reproduce the problem (by simulating, or really using, a smaller monitor?) |
I have tried reducing the screen size right down and I've not been able to reproduce it. Note that in your example screen shot for the Trackwaypoint Layer -> Right Click Menu - the 'External' entry as shown is the last item in the menu, so I'm guessing that if only a few pixels of the menu is not shown - the GTK version does not add an extra down arrow - since that itself takes screen space. |
Try this:

If we click the View menu, and it goes off the bottom of our screen, no big deal, as there is a little black "down arrow" there at the bottom we can use.
Not the case for some other menus.
Here we see that, well, whatever choices that extend below our screen are simply inacessible.
I'm just saying they need the little arrow too.
