Updating the latest version on Conda

Dear there, it's still v1.0.3 when I install vcflib with Conda (nearly half a year since the last upload :) ), and the vcfwave is not included. Wondering if it's possible to update with the latest version? (I tried to install from the source but just tired to fix those errors encountered.) Thanks a lot in advance!

How soonish @pjotrp ? I woud like to use the new vcfwave via a Bioconda package, but the current version does not come with it.

The code is pretty much there after merging master...pjotrp:vcflib:master

I need to test a little more and document and we can release. vcfwave+vcfcreatemulti are powerful new features of vcflib.

Note it requires the zig compiler. Though you can compile without and miss out on vcfcreatemulti.

@AndreaGuarracino is working on it bioconda/bioconda-recipes#38860, but some dependencies make trouble.

It is a complex beast :). We are now packaging wfa2-lib and that should ease things a bit.

That's what I figured out as well when I tried to compile from source. Dependency hell! The best of luck, I'll be patient ;-)

Better to ask the conda folks. Note we need to bring out a new release because of @AndreaGuarracino 's fix.

Thanks @pjotrp , I installed the latest version on conda bioconda channel and it still doesn't have vcfwave. I will just wait for the new release.
