  1. Would it be possible to have a "split the output into multiple DAT files based on languages option similar to the one for regions right now?
And maybe only include the game in 1 language DAT/file (depending on the language order) if it contains multiple languages.

Would be very useful for sorting/tidying library by languages which is not always apparent in the filenames.
Example, some ASIA region games such as "Sanguozhi V (Asia)" or "Shediao Yingxiongzhuan (Asia)" do not clearly specify the languages in the filenames, and may include only English or Chinese (or both), so it is not possible to search/filter in windows file explorer if you want to extract Chinese only games out for example.

  1. Alternatively, would it possible to still output the release/region/language record for each game , example: "release name="007 Shitou - The Duel (Japan)" region="Japan" language="Ja"/" when "output dat file in legacy parent/clone format" is disabled?

I've had a few requests for splitting DATs on different criteria. This isn't something that can happen until at least the end of the year due to existing commitments, but I'm thinking about it.

I suspect these requests exist because most ROM managers have limited filtering and organization capability, and having multiple filtered DATs is a workaround that lets people set different folders for each DAT to better curate their collections.

We'll see. Maybe RomVault will beat me to it.
