Cannot zoom in by pressing key "+" (version 15.1) #718
Comments
Hi, please let us know which OS and Java version you are using. Maybe you have a specific keyboard layout or setting which maps the + key to anything else than ususal? |
Hi,
I can confirm that here Ctrl++ zoom-in (as well as Ctrl+- for -out) works
as expected.
UMLet version 15.0.0; openjdk version "11.0.19"; Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS (Ubuntu)

It's the first time someone reports the issue and on my system + and -
works without a problem.
Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying both on Windows11 with jre-1.8; and macOS13.3 with openjdk1.8.0_362. Both of them cannot work. |
Maybe it has to do with your keyboard or keyboard settings? I cannot reproduce it using Windows10 or Linux and Umlet is just using the default Keycodes which Java provides to listen, so unfortunately I don't know how we could fix the issue in Umlet. |
Hi, this cmd+ + zoom in also not working on my Macbook for UMLet 15.1 (macOS Montery version 12.1 and java 17.0.6). I checked the keyboard shortcut settings, there is no other definition for cmd + + . |
Interesting, btw just + or - should be enough for zooming. You only need the Meta (on Windows Ctrl) key when using the mouse wheel for zoom |
As "Properties" shows "Use +/- or Ctrl+mouse wheel to zoom"
But pressing the key "+" cannot work to zoom in, while "-" can zoom out the elements.
