Doubble space - delete last symbol on android

When I use mask for custom phone field ('000 000 000'), on android phones, double space - delete last symbol.

I've experienced a similar issue on iOS Safari, might be related. We have an input mask like so aa00000000 which when - is typed twice into the input, it will repeatedly remove the preceeding character. Doesn't happen on desktop, but it does happen on iOS safari on the phone pattern on https://imask.js.org
