Will there be support for datalabels in v3+ chartjs usage? The quickchart.io site seems to already support this.

We were just wondering the same, After some code research we saw, that for version 3 and 4 plugins are just set to an empty array.
Is there any information on this matter?

Thank you in advance

Did you find a solution? I can't get any plugin to work for version 4, datalabels, backgroundimage. I installed the Google Cloud version.

The company I am working with bought the commercial version and we received a docker image that we host for ourselves on aws. I did not hear when/if the plugin support is going to be incorporated into the open source version. If self hosting and able to purchase license, this commercial product works well. The quickchart.io site works well for low volume as well.

Thank you very much wpfeiffe, are you referring to the commercial version that comes on the quickchart website, for $40 USD per month? With paying 1 month they give me the docker image? We want to implement it on our server in google cloud and not depend on the quickchart web.
