How to exclude Derived folder from coverage report

I have a project generated with tuist. I’ve configured a custom scheme for testing, that includes all test targets and sets coverage to true. Additionally I’ve set codeCoverageTargets to all non test targets.

Now when I run the test, almost everything works as expected and the coverage report is created, but I can also see the auto-generated swift files from the Derived folder appear as uncovered files in the coverage report (e.g. TuistBundle+MyApp.swift 0%). Is there any way how to exclude those files from the coverage report?

I don't think there is. Technically, these files are a part of your project but yeah, I can see the confusion. I wouldn't mind us automatically ignoring these files from the code coverage but can one even do that inside Xcode?

From what I know it is only possible to exclude (or include) targets. Would it be possible to extract those files to a dedicated target?

I think it should be possible but I'm not sure if that's worth the extra complexity 🤔
