hi,

I have the following statement:

      'RW Split Listener':
        type: 'listener'
        service: 'RW Split Router'
        protocol: 'MySQLClient'
        address: '127.0.0.1'
        port: '3306'
        socket: '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock'

Applications like "mysql" could connect via socket to /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock, but because there is no "/var/run/mysqld/" with owner maxscale, the socket file could created.

It would be nice, if the folders are created before refresh the services :-)

As workaround, I put the right lines into my profile::mysql::maxscale.

cu denny
