I think when someone first adds a subscription it should be very easy to tell TA that you want to get the entire channel or not or give some nice controls about which videos exactly they will be getting when they subscribe. Maybe radio buttons or checkboxes or something "Download entire channel?" and "Specify date range for which videos you want" or "Get X number of recent videos?"
The only way to do this currently is to adjust a global setting about how far back TA looks for all subscriptions.

Thinking along these same lines, I'd really like to have the ability to limit how far back TubeArchivist goes when pulling down videos from subscribed channels. Would be helpful if there was an option to subscribe to a channel but limit by x number of days\months\years the tool will go back when selecting videos to download. If this feature is already there somehow, then apologies as I must have completely overlooked something.
I see you have a tremendous workload maintaining this application. Hope you're getting the appreciation shared with you for all you're doing with this.
