3 level category

I found this mod https://github.com/tom-it/3rdlevelcategory-opencart/blob/master/install.xml and I need to customise opencart-materialize template. Any help?
It need to be showing 3 level categories on menu. Im using OC3

I plan to add a second menu view in the future that will include the third level of categories.
But for the present I need to finish work on the full support of OpenCart 3, then I'll start working on new modifications 😉.

The framework is not designed for a three-level menu. Therefore, the implementation of such a menu is not an easy job, which takes time. How to do it, I do not know yet, so, unfortunately, I can not instruct you.

Anyway, 2 weeks ago, in my spare time, I started to develop a mega menu.
In fact, the menu is almost a week in working order.
I had to completely change the category menu, and the search on the site will now be on top.
Here's what you can already do:

• The menu can be fixed, centered and added to the home button at the top of the list
• Level 1 categories can be a mega menu, and can be standard
• in the side block of the mega menu you can display the image of the main category, slideshow or logos of manufacturers from this category, and you can not display anything

If someone has more ideas or suggestions for improvement, please write your suggestions under this message.

p.s. For example, I'm thinking about the ability to add a custom tab and the ability to output arbitrary content.

Maybe its best way to do it simple, for begining. Add feauture to menage menu images after update
